DMMMSU campus officials and teachers engaged in a virtual learning experience aimed at deepening their understanding of Thai language and culture. This initiative, titled “Unlock Thai Fluency: Online Conversational Classes for DMMMSU Personnel,” was facilitated in collaboration with Chonburi Technological College in Thailand over four Wednesdays, from June 19 to July 10, 2024.

The online program was crafted to provide 15 DMMMSU participants from the four operating campuses and units with a foundational grasp of conversational Thai, ensuring they acquire practical language skills essential for effective communication and cultural exchange. They also gained invaluable insights into Thai customs, traditions, and societal nuances.

DMMMSU and CTC solidified their partnership in education, research, and training in March 2022. CTC, a proud member of Thailand’s Association of Private Colleges of Technology and Vocational Education (PVET) under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, brings extensive expertise in technical education to the collaboration. This initiative builds on DMMMSU’s ongoing cooperation with PVET, as formalized in a Memorandum of Understanding signed on October 25, 2022. (By Jesus Rafael B. Jarata)
